    Hi there,
This might be something thats totally unachievable, but I would like users above a certain role level – for example, authors – to be able to edit text either directly in the cell, or from a “single-cell-edit” link/button (rather than whole-table based as per the current “edit” function). Perhaps I need to use your “php-in-tables” extension to insert an “edit” link on the cells, which, when clicked, executes a subset of the code from the “view-edit.php” file. I’d like the users to do this without moving away from the “view” page.

It feels like quite a project unless you have something simpler in mind.

    thanks
    Guy

Perhaps making a single column into editable textareas rather than uneditable text, with a “save” link at the bottom of the table would be the neatest solution.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here. Currently, I don’t see a good or easy way to achieve this, sorry.

    Regards,
    Tobias
