We have e-commerce based on woo commerce now and we have used the “tm extra product options plugin” for the attributes of the size and the color.

According to our developer for this plugin, we need to choose from the drop-down menu of the product data the option “single product” and then we are able to go and add the size, the color, the price, and the total number of the stock. However, we are not able to add the stock number of each item per size.

If we choose “variable” products from the drop-down menu of the “product data” we have the option to add the stock number per item per size but then the add to cart button is not working. Are u able to provide us with any solution to our issue?

  • None of the add-on type plugins allow stock numbers for add-on parameters, only true variations can have stock numbers.

A simple product with add-ons is still a single product with a single stock number. True variations are separate products, albeit with common properties, and each variation can have a stock number.

Regarding the variable product add-to-carts, ensure each variation has a price and that its in stock. If you have, and yet it still doesn’t work, please post a link to such a product.

    Hi @andonis,

Since we didn’t build this product (tm extra product options plugin) we don’t have much insight here to offer further assistance on the cause of these errors. Though I don’t like to redirect you, as a next step, I’d suggest reaching out to the creators to see if they’re able to provide some additional guidance.
