I have the latest version of WordPress and timezone set to UTC-4.
    My permalink structure is domain.com/2019/11/15/category/awesome-post-name/

Posts created between 20:00hrs to midnight have been getting incorrect/404’d permalinks.

So instead of domain.com/2019/11/15/category/awesome-post-name/amp/, the post gets a amphtml link of domain.com/2019/11/16/category/awesome-post-name/amp/ which is a 404.

These are appearing in Search console.

Any idea how to fix ?

Date/Time component improvements in WordPress 5.3

Could be related to those core changes… as I now see the wordpress feeds have the same problem. Posts made on just before midnight on the 15th have 2019/11/16/ in their permalinks instead.

I think you should the raise this with general WordPress support then, as I don’t think this is specific to AMP.

Ok. In case anybody finds this…. I figured out that setting date_default_timezone_set() will mess now with WP core functions. So if your theme or other plugin has that, you need to remove.
