    Hi,

thanks for your question and sorry for the trouble!

To be honest, I have no real clue why this is happening, as all the things that usually cause this (like overlong links) don’t apply to this table…

However, there are few places with invalid HTML code in the table that might play a role here:
    Row 37: Link HTML <a href="https://www.kckomen.org" </a> (missing > and link text)
    Row 70: href="mailto:[email protected]> (missing ")

Could you please fix those to see if that helps?

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thanks Tobias – those rows are repaired, but problem is unchanged (table overflows into widget column) as reported earlier.

    Help!

    Hi,

ok, thanks for fixing these. This is really strange. I still can’t really see a reason for this, but I have some ideas that are worth exploring.
As these are kind of technical and hard to describe, it might be the quickest, if I directly try them.
Could you therefore please create a temporary admin account for me and send me the details via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)?
I’ll then try to debug this directly and try a few things to fix this issue.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

    just for everybody following this:
I’ve worked on this directly with Mike and we found two more overlong URLs that were expanding the width of the tables. Removing those (or “linkifying” them with a shorter link text) fixed the width issue.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
