Since updating WordPress most images on my website now show a URL underneath

  • The html in your site is broken.anchor tag is inserted inside the img tag.

    Thank you for your response, that’s much appreciated.

    Do you know if there is a way to fix this problem? Is there a way I can remove the anchor tags from the img tags?

    Hello,
    It can definitly be fixed but one has to look into the codes of the site to fix this. So you can ask your developer to look into the codes to fix the issue.

    Hi Sarmistha,

    Unfortunately I don’t have a developer, I put the site together myself with very little knowledge ??

    Is there a particular area of the coding you would suggest looking at? Is there not a way to remove all the anchor tags that have ended up in the img tags?
