• Since I updated this plugin to 2.1.91 from Insert PHP to Woody Ad Snippets all my backend pages with /wp-admin/ redirect to the below url instead.

    /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wbcr-snippets&page=about-wbcr_insert_php&wbcr_inp_about_page_viewed=1

Can you please remove this page/redirect code and push another update to fix this? Currently the plugin has to be deactivated to restore backend functionality.

    Hi,

    Do you use wordpress multisite?

    Best regards, Alex

It is a multisite. Though the plugin is not network activated, only active on one site using it.

    Hi,

This is my fault, I paid too little attention to multisite. I promise to fix it after the weekend. Thank you for taking the time to report an error!

    Best regards, Alex

Hello, just updating today and I have the same problem all my link to my backend pages with /wp-admin/ redirect to wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wbcr-snippets&page=about-wbcr_insert_php&wbcr_inp_about_page_viewed=1

Just chiming in to say that I also have this issue.

Had the same problem today. I was able to resolve by editing boot.php under /plugins/insert-php/admin/boot.php and remove lines 81 to 95.

This allowed me to navigate the admin area. I really do enjoy this plugin and have been using it for many years. After the latest update, all my [insert_php] short codes stopped working and my custom php code stopped working and this about page kept coming up.

I went back to the older version of Insert PHP and it was still redirecting to the about page, but did fix my custom php code.

So after some time looking through the code, I found where it was redirecting in the boot.ini.

    All good to go.

Always fun updating plugins.. Like pulling teeth…

The bug with redirections has been fixed in the latest version of the plugin. More than a year in the plugin hung notice that we refuse shortcodes [insert_php]. Now you can enable support for old shortcodes on the plugin settings page, they are disabled by default.
