    Hello,

    We updated to 2.7.1 this morning.

    Since this morning, I’ve been experiencing a problem on our online store. It’s become impossible to pay with a credit card, the message “Unfortunately, your credit card details are not valid.” is systematically displayed. Of course, we’ve tested this with several cards.

    We tried to restore the old version 2.7.0, but the problem persists.

    Paypal account payments work normally.

    please help us.

    Hello @samollo,

    This message “Unfortunately, your credit card details are not valid. ” can happen e.g. when disabling VISA cards in the settings and then paying with a VISA card.

    However, in most case scenarios it is valid output as our plugin does not verify credit card details directly. All card validation checks are handled by PayPal, and no card details are transferred elsewhere by a plugin. This means that the decision to accept or reject a credit card is entirely made by PayPal, depending on whether the entered details meet their validation criteria. The credit card fields are hosted directly on PayPal servers within an iframe for enhanced security.

    To ensure that the plugin is functioning correctly on your end, I would recommend setting up a sandbox account. This can be done by following the instructions provided here: Testing in Sandbox. Using a sandbox account, you can perform transactions with test credit cards to verify that everything is working as expected without any real financial transactions taking place.

    Please proceed with these steps and let us know if the problem persists in the sandbox.

    I have the same problem since update 2.7.1 this morning, I downgraded to 2.6.1 but still the message “Unfortunately, your bank card details are not valid”.

    Please help us

    nothing disabled on paypal config… all credit card are accepted you can test directly in production website, sure your card won’t be accepted…

    Everything had been working properly for 6 months, but since v2.7.0 the problems have started.

    But v2.7.1 broke everything. Now, no credit card payments.

    I managed to solve the problem.

    What I did:
    1- I deleted the folder “woocommerce-paypal-payments” from the folder on the server.
    2- I deleted the website caches
    3- I installed version 2.6.1 of the paypal plugin from the file “woocommerce-paypal-payments.2.6.1.zip”.
    4- I reactivated the plugin

    Voila!
