Since the last 3 updates Insert page plugin added 40+ requests to the page load

    Hello,

    I’ve noticed drastically increase of the requests since the last 3 releases of the plugin.
    In other support tickets it is mentioned that the issue is fixed with the latest release 3.5.1 but this doesn’t lowered the number of the requests.

    59 requests with the older version (3 versions behind the current one.

    The latest tests are done with the latest version: 3.5.1 with disabled gutenberg block – Disable Insert Pages Gutenberg block.

    Information how Insert page is used on the website
    I am using Insert Pages only on the Homepage, through the widget insert page. On the other pages Insert page isn’t used but still loads alot of not necessary javascripts and css files (requests).

    Could you please check the situation and advise what can be done?

    Note: Immediately when I disable the plugin the requests decreases back to normal.

    The plugin is a wonderful peace of code, but if will continue adding 40+ more requests on my side I’ll remove it from my website.

    Hi,

    After another attempt to identify the issue, I’ve found that the hosting cache wasn’t cleared. So After the renewed cache the requests are back to normal. I confirm that the issue is not relevant with the newest version 3.5.1
