Since latest update, directory says it has no members

After updating to UM v2.1.21, the directories show empty on the frontend. On the dashboard, it shows the correct count of users with the custom UM roles.

We have tested for conflicts by deactivating all plugins, but the directory still didn’t show any members. We rolled the server’s PHP version back to 7.3, and also made sure there wasn’t a caching plugin on the site/server.
