    Just reporting a bug.

Since the last update, gtag.js wasn’t getting added for anonymous users on our site. Only users that are logged in.

Have resolved it by installing a 3rd party gtag plugin, and disabling it from within Enhanced Ecommerce Google Analytics settings.

    Hi,

Thank you for drawing our attention towards it.

We have already tested this use case & it’s working fine for all the users.

    Thanks & Regards,

FYI, it’s not working fine for all users, as it’s not adding gtag.js for us either.

Iam having the same problem… Plugin stopped working after 2.0.2 update.

    Hi @clicknathan & @grega2

Have you accepted the Privacy policy from the settings of the plugin? With the latest update, you need to accept the privacy policy for our plugin as per GDPR compliance.

If yes, then create a separate thread for your query & share your store URL with us!

    Hope to hear you soon!

    Thanks & Regards,

Thanks, that seems to have fixed it. I think a notice would be invaluable to your plugin’s users as it’s not clear that you need to do that now and it’s resulting in days worth of lost data collection.

    Hi @clicknathan,

    Thank you for the suggestion!

It might be not valuable for you but it’s useful for other users & as per the GDPR compliance, our plugin is tracking website visitors journey using cookies so we have to provide the policy. We have made this mandatory to accept the policy because the plugin users should know about the working of our plugin.

Additionally, for the lost data collection, I would like to learn from you that have you read the changelogs & documentation of our plugin after updating it?

It’s the best practices to read the description, FAQs, Changelogs & documentation (available with our plugin) first, each time you update the plugin. We keep updating it regularly for the plugin users only. It saves your time & avoids the data loss.

    Thanks & Regards,

Hi Tatvic, I wasn’t saying that the feature wasn’t value. Invaluable means the opposite of that, but I was referring to the idea that while it may be best practice to read through all of that, like you mentioned, a simple notification upon upgrade would help prevent this from happening to anyone else who upgrades but doesn’t follow said best practices.

I thank you for your plugin and was only providing a suggestion. Have a lovely day!
