Since Gutenberg: endless saving, saving – can’t click “update”

The subject says it all… since Gutenberg, I can’t save. It says it is saving, never stops saying it is saving. It grays out the update button. I have to reload the page and choose an autosave from the revisions, which may or may not be complete. This is definitely a bug. I can see why there are a million downloads of the classic editor plugin. I’ll be joining them.

I’d call it super-super frustrating.. The fix for me was installing Black Studio TinyMCE Widget version 2.6.6. I can’t find the changelog now that I have installed it, but it references resolved conflicts with SiteOrigin’s Page Builder.
All fixed — hope this helps someone else!
