Since 4.4.10 language of WP-Update Mails changed to Englisch

    Hi there,

    my WordPress-Blog sends mails, if updates of WP-Core or -plugins are available. The standard-language of my WordPress-installation is German.

    Since AIOWP-Security-update to 4.4.10 the language of these mails suddenly changed from German to English language.

    Due to a rollback to version “4.4.9” these mails now are correctly in German again.

    Same reaction with my second WordPress-installation for testing.

    Additional info: I have “Easy Updates Manager” plugin running to control the WordPress updates. Maybe there is a conflict?

    Is your sites default language also changed after the update?

    No. Only the update mails (WordPress or Plugins) are affected. The language “German” is set for WordPress itself. There are no other language changes either. Neither within the blog or other plugins.

    Can you go to User Accounts>>List of Administrator Accounts and then next to your account, click “Edit User”. What is the language set to for your profile?

    The setting there is “Site Default” (“Website-Einstellung” in German). I already set “German” directly here. That hasn’t changed anything.

    I had already checked that. I forgot to mention that.

    We are running some tests now, and I will update you when these are complete.

    Please could I just check, are all translations on the site fully up to date?
    You can check for translation updates in the WP Admin->Updates page.
