Simply Static with Roots.io Stack

  • I am trying to use Simply Static on a site with Bedrock, Trellis and Sage (https://roots.io). When I try to export I get an unspecific error message. Could Bedrock and Sage cause the problem? Sages structures themes differently and Bedrock structures the WordPress Installation differently. Are there dependencies that could explain that it does not work?

    Generally Simply Static doesn’t care too much about the internals of WordPress, it just tries to fetch the content of your WordPress homepage and spiders out from there.

    When you say you’re getting an unspecific error message, what is the error message?
