Simply buggy plugin

  • this plugin imposes to select a city code to work properly. Howerver my wordpress does not allow me to select a city code, only time zone is allowed.

    It would be better to allow the user to select a desired language instead of city code.

    What version of WordPress are you using – timezone selection by city has been available for a while. (https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/03/16/set-your-blogs-timezone-by-city/).

    Firstly, this is how WordPress built-in location selection is designed, and is ensures automatic daylight savings adjustments as needed.

    Secondly, language is insufficient for selecting location (i.e. French is spoken in France and Canada, two very different timezones).

    I am using wordpress version 3.1
    Only time zone is possible, It is not possible to select a city.

    Imposing city selection to make calendar working is not a good idea, since many wordpress websites cannot use it (as mine).

    I just checked and 3.1 has city’s available in blog settings timezone selection.

    City names are located above the UTC+0 option.
