    Hello,

is this plugin a Simplified integration of PayPal Checkout?

The Terms of use for “Rechnungskauf via Ratepay” (Invoice via Ratepay) say:

    3. Check-out and Credit Check

    […]

If outlined in the integration documents for the specific Merchant integration (“Deferred Capture Integration”), the Merchant shall send a payment capture once the items are ready for shipment (“Capture Call”) which PayPal will accept (“Acceptance Call”) unless it cannot be accepted for technical reasons (e.g., incomplete transaction information etc.). The integration that does not require the Merchant to inform PayPal separately of the shipment of the item is referred to as ”Simplified Integration”. For the avoidance of doubt, in either integration, the Merchant is obliged to fulfill his duties to provide valid proof of delivery or other information as further described in section 6.

I can’t find any information on the net about this.

    Hi @apfelbiss,

I haven’t seen the term “Simplified Integration” before, but PayPal Payments is the latest & official PayPal implementation for WooCommerce and implements the “PayPal Checkout” features. The team collaborates with WooCommerce, PayPal, and PayPal Germany to bring you the latest features, all in one integration.

In the latest version 1.9.3, PayPal Payments implemented support for tracking. This feature is not yet documented, but it allows you to send the shipment tracking data to PayPal, which is a requirement for Pay upon Invoice payments.

But the PayPal support may be in a better position to tell you what exactly the terms are referring to.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
