    Hi All,

As soon as I upgraded to version 2.0 of Jetpack, my forum suddenly started appearing twice on the Forum Page. It appears as full page width right at the top and then the normal way just below that.

Are you aware of this at all? Perhaps any assistance as to how I can fix it? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the post. I just upgraded to v2.0.2 and then also disabled the Publicize plugin and now mine is working fine again as well.

No problem, that’s great to hear.

I’m having the same problem on my new website: PostChaotic.com. I’ve fixed the problem for now by disabling both “Publicize” and “Sharing” on Jetpack. However, I would really like to be able to use those plugins, so a fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Any updates on this? I’m having the same problem, and disabling both “Publicize” and “Sharing” has fixed it for now, but I also want to be able to use those. Thanks!

Could you install this small plugin? It will allow you to use Publicize and Sharing without breaking your forums:

Awesome, that did the trick! Thanks

Thanks Jeremy – again, to the rescue with this jetPack nonsense. Much appreciated.

I tried the plugin fix for this and received this memory error as soon as I tried to load my Simple Press forums:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1545

Without the Disable Jetpack Open Graph tags plugin, the forum page opens without error.

Is this something I can fix on my end?

Edited to add: Never mind, I’ve increased memory allocation for WP and now this works fine. Adding this note in case someone else is as stupid as I am. ??

Really pleased to have found this because it was driving me and the members of my cycling club mad. I’ve turned off pulicise and sharing but would like to bring that functionality back. Therefore, I was keen to install the plug-in from Jeremy but I’m not sure where I should load those files on the server. Please can you provide some guidance.

    Thanks in advance

@dfawatts unzip the file and put the jp-disable-og folder (containing the plugin php file) into your wp-content “plugins” folder. Then visit your admin panel to activate the plugin.

FWIW, I’ve gone for bbPress in the end. A bit clunky but less hassle.

Excellent thanks cullaloe, that’s worked a treat. Now if only I could get a really easy way for all my forum members to upload an avatar without needting to go through the hassle of gravatar and wordpress.

I have this same issue at mmobytesDOTcom, community, forum drop down link.

    And I already deleted jetpack.

I am also seeing this problem and like Zaek I have deleted Jetpack.

Found that SEO by Yoast was also causing the problem. I blew away my whole site and started adding back plugins one by one. So simplepress seems to have an issue with both Jetpack and WordPress SEO by Yoast

@zaek @roparker The issue mentioned in this thread was fixed a few months ago.

If you still experience issues, could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?
