Simple way to add links to pages

  • Haven’t used WordPress for a while and its hard to remember since its all redesigned.

    How do I add widget to add links to pages and other sites?

    I just added Pages widget, but it doesn’t show up on site. Why?

  • If you want to add links to pages, you need to create a menu. Your site currently does not have a menu. You do not need a widget to add pages. If you want to add links to specific pages or posts from the body of a page or post you can do that with the editor.

    Added menu called it main and selected Gallery page and its showing up. Thanks.

    Where do the widgets show up on the page when used?

    Did you assign the menu to a menu position in your theme?

    Added a new gallery. Please check if it looks ok.

    But when viewing on cellphone browsers Chrome and Opera (Android) I get error messages telling me – Your connection is not secure. Then I tried later and its works fine viewing gallery.

    From what I can tell you do not have an SSL certificate installed. Contact your web host to find out if they offer free certificates or you can purchase one inexpensively from ssls.com.
