  • I’ve become used to a blue admin bar signifying a development environment due to the work I do on WordPress.com every day. My self-hosted production and development sites have super-similar URLs so the blue admin bar helps out tremendously when I’m not paying enough attention to which site I’m working on. This is probably one of the simplest and most useful plugins you’ll find.
