Simple use – “upload” button not responding

  • We want to use the WordPress File Upload plugin to get our logged in-users to upload relevant documents for our service.
    I have simply inserted the short code with no edits: [wordpress_file_upload]
    into the relevant page. No reaction when i try to use the button and its not possible to upload files.
    We have tried different solutions presented on this support page: adding custom css to my theme, changing theme, adding code to functions.php.
    Nothing seems to be working all though we are not tech savvy.

    Any assistance for this simple issue?
