Simple Social Icons – Icons not showing since SSL cert installed

I have just set up an SSL certificate via GoDaddy Managed WordPress and now the Simple Social Icons aren’t showing properly on the web page. Only the circular borders of each icon show, not the actual icons for the different services.

This is the second site that I have installed SSL on this way and it resulted in the same problem. I have only just connected the dots.. The other site is https://brendanconnolly.realtor (I’ve used a different widget up the top, but kept Simple Social Icons in the footer so you can see).

The URLs in the widget have the full path. e.g. https://www.facebook.com/VelveGroup
