Simple Search without showing entire table

Hello,
Is there a way to make the search of the data table a very simple SEARCH box that doesn’t show the entire csv file? What my client is looking for is a simple search for customers to see if their product is available only. Our company is an aircraft repair business. So a client may want to know if they can have their Pxxxx00000 part repaired. So they type in Pxxxx00000 and the part shows up as an available repair, but not the entire parts list, just the specific part.
