I recently noticed that there is a structured data and schema type option in my theme’s simple post settings, and it is enabled and set to articles.

However, I use Yoast, and it already has global settings for structured data and schema type, in addition to the possibility that I can change the schema type individually per post.

Should I disable this structured data/schema option for simple posts that comes with my theme?

    Hello weslleysim.

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. Having multiple structured data output from plugins and themes can result in unexpected behaviors such as validation errors. So, I recommend disabling the option in your theme.
