• I’ve been searching for the right solution to my problem and have tried a number of different things, but I worry I’m a bit too much of a novice to figure this out on my own.

I’m setting up a store that sells vinyls decals. There are 30 colors of vinyl and some products have the option of choosing up to 3 different colors. Doing the math, that’s 2,700 variations for a 3 color decal. Color does not effect price and there is no need to track inventory, so I was looking into product add-ons or a gravity form sort of color entry, but I have my heart set on color swatches the customer can choose.

Is there any way to use the attributes I have set up for colors or a plugin that gives a similar result that would allow me to have a simple product (or one with few variations like large and small in addition to the colors) where I don’t have to create thousands of variations for the color portion of it?

Thanks in advance for any help!

  • Sounds like you need to become familiar with WooCommerce and how to set up simple products with variations. It is a pretty straightforward process once you get the hang of it.
