    Hello there,

So I am basically trying to create a shop page with both normal product and subscription. In practice I have a water filter unit product (which comes with 1 filter as standard). However I want to give the customer the option to subscribe for the filter replacement. So basically if the customer can buy the water filer unit and then subscribe to filter replacements that happen at an interval. This means that if the client buys the unit and also subscribes, the unit will be shipped now, but technically the subcription should only start x months later when the replacement is due.

Does anybody have any solution how can this be done in practice?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

WooCommerce does not include bt default the functionality to convert a product into a regular/recurrent subscription.

But with the help of plugins this could be possible.

One of our extensions provides the ability to convert any product into a recurrent subscription, please check:
    https://woocommerce.com/products/all-products-for-woocommerce-subscriptions/

To set up this plugin you’ll need subscriptions on your site, either via WooCommerce subscriptions or WooCommerce Payments.

Depending on the subscription plugin that is set up you can take different features to offer to your customers.

Let us know if there are any questions ??

    Hello,

I have looked into All Products for subscriptions before. However it still does not suit me. This is because essentially there are two products that I would want to combine. Product 1, the water filter unit, this is only for sale, no subscriptions and then Product 2, which is the filter that goes inside of Product 1 and because over time it gets ‘dirty’ it has to be changed, so this should be a subscription product. However it would be the most ideal, if I the customer can select Product 1 and Product 2 on the same product page.

    Thanks for any other suggestions!

    Hello,

All Products for Subscriptions can allow customers to choose either one time purchase or subscription on the same page. There is a use case with this extension that you can check out here: https://woocommerce.com/document/all-products-for-woocommerce-subscriptions/use-case-offering-subscription-boxes/

If you have any further questions on the extension above, you can open a support request at https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/#sales-form, and we’ll be happy to help you there!

    Hello,

My only concern is that in the example above, product bundling is done when all products are subscription based. Whereas in my case, the bundle would be that only one of the product in the bundle would be for subscription.

    Hi @nagycsongorwp,

I understand your concern. Since All Products for WooCommerce Subscriptions is a marketplace extension that we do not support on this forum, which is specific for WooCommerce core, it’s best to submit a pre-sales inquiry so that the support staff can answer all your questions.

You can do so from this URL:

    https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/#sales-form

From there, click on the tab “I have a question about a specific extension or theme I’d like to purchase.” We will be able to help you further there.

Just so you know, we offer a 30-day refund policy so you can test out the extension with your requirements and make sure it works for you. Here are more details on the refund policy: https://woocommerce.com/refund-policy/.

    All the best.
