    I just installed wordpress on my server.

    wordpress.williamlayton.com

    I ran in the install script wordpress.williamlayton.com/wp-admin/index.php but I can’t seem to find the home page.

    Shouldn’t wordpress.williamlayton.com take me to my new wordpress home page?

  • should be
    wordpress.williamlayton.com/wp-admin/install.php

    also, you will likely need to remove host’s index.html file they have as a placeholder

    Thanks samboll.

    The default index.html file was launching instead of index.php.

    I deleted index.html and it works great.
