• could one of you guys help me out. We are using simple press for forums but no one can update their profile. They get the error:

Profile form could not be found [//wp-content/plugins/simple-press/forum/profile/forms/sp-form-overview.php]

They get that error or some version no matter what they try to update on their profile.

  • My site is having a similar problem. We had thought it was a conflict with the database of another plugin, however the first reply from the Simple-Press administrator indicated there was another issue.

Did you find a solution? We’ll try that before posting back to the Simple-Press forums.

    Hi,

I have got the same problem, is there any advice on how to fix?

    Thanks

Same problem for me & no idea how to fix? I went into: ‘Forum > Profiles > Profiles Tabs & Menus’ and made sure all the file paths in the ‘Menu form’ fields were correct but that didn’t fix it.

I got it working! The path that works in the ‘Menu form’ field for me is:

    wp-content/plugins/simple-press/forum/profile/forms/x

where ‘x’ is the PHP file, so just remove everything except the PHP file at the end and put this before:

    wp-content/plugins/simple-press/forum/profile/forms/

weird as I’m sure I tried that path the other day? I tested the front end & everything seems fine.

    ??
