Simple Post Thumbnails plugin crashes my wordpress blog

Hi Members

i have a blog https://cricketfever.org installed on WordPress 2.7.1

Today i installed the Simple Posts Thumbnail plugin & looks like many problems have started because of this, i am seeing this message on top of my dashboard

When i try to deactivate/uninstall it – i get this error – Thank you for downloadign the Simple Post Thumbnails WordPress Plugin. —————————————————————————— All installation, setup and usage instructions for this plugin can be found at: https://www.press75.com/docs/simple-post-thumbnails/ —————————————————————————— For plugin support, please use the Press75.com support forums: https://www.press75.com/support/ ——————————————————————————

I even tried removing it from logging into my File Manager via cPanel & deleting the plugin from plugins folder in wp-content but the problem still persists.
