Simple ( Not for me ) and urgent. image on Homepage

Hi Guys,

Firstly id like to apologize as this is probably the most basic of questions, i am a print designer ( who needs to get into the 21 century ) with little to no experience with web design.

Basically i am wanting to add an image to my homepage underneath the navigation and above the featured content on this site –

…thats about it haha! Like i say i have no trouble with the aesthetics of the site its just anything even slightly technical. The image i want to add is the combined size of the featured post and the ad for ‘black list’ along side it and i need it to only appear on the homepage as it is going to be the sites ‘about’ area.
