    Hi there,

I tested on my site with the following settings under Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog but couldn’t replicate: https://d.pr/i/lnONoG

It looks like in the catalog, only categories are showing and when clicking on a category, then sub-categories show per your requirements.

Could you share your System Status Report, it would help us to understand your site setup a bit better. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your reply.

    Hi @peaceandlove99,

Thanks for sending over more details and the screenshots are very helpful.

Your settings look correct and I’ve tested this on one of my WooCommerce test sites. Only the main categories are showing up. At this point, I think this behavior could be due to a theme or plugin conflict on your site.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Go to your homepage and check the product categories

    ?
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Thanks.
