Simple link widget question, I think

Don’t use the built in Links blogroll. ??

I think this might have one:

and tweak it a little

The problem with the diamond plugin is that I still have to go into each site and update the widget each time a new site is added.

Okay, is it possible for a network of sites to have a widget that display the links of my main blog? And updates itself with new links, if I add a new link to my main blog. Not all of the blogs are in one WordPress multisite installation.

Then *this* is your issue.

If you have multiple *separate* WP installs… then nothing except an RSS widget will update across all of the sites.

OKay, I guess I will create a RSS feed with all my site links on it and put a widget on each site that displays the feed. Thanks for the help Andrea! Much appreciated!

If you have a lot of sites, pulling the feeds back and forth may cause issues.

Though as they’re separate and NOT Multisite, it’s slightly less of an issue.
