[Simple Job Board] Applicant attachments not coming through

We have an intermittent problem with applicant resume attachments not coming through. We are currently on version 2.7.2 (We are unable to upgrade to 2.7.4 – There is a new version of Simple Job Board available, but it doesn’t work with your version of PHP). Our site is hosted by GoDaddy.

Lately, none of the attachments are coming through. The candidates do not even know that their resume wasn’t submitted successfully. They do not get an error message and because we have resume set as optional, it continues to show as application submitted.

We are also using the ‘How to Apply’ plugin version 1.0.4.

We have made a test submission on your website for one of your recent jobs and we also attached a test resume. Please see the screenshot for reference as everything seems to be working fine for us.

Hi, we seem to be having the same issue.

We have only noticed the issue today and the last email we have received was Monday (we have definitely had submissions since then).

When a user completes the form they get the green popup message (as shown in your screesnshot) and the submission goes into the WordPress back end but no email is sent to either the admin or the applicant.

We are running the latest version of the plugin (2.7.4) and version 5.1.3 or WordPress.

We have also checked that our mailbox is working properly.

Please can you help us resolve this issue?

Hi @broadbiz,

We would recommend that you contact your host provider or try a different mailing address i.e Yahoo, Google, Hotmail and then check if the issue still persists.
