    Hi, P?r.

I have a multisite installation and I use the Enable Media Replace plugin.

If wp-config.php contains “define( ‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT’, true );”, then simple history pannel does not show any message concerning media replaces. On the other hand, if I don′t have that setting, everything works fine (Replaced attachment “xxx” with new attachment “yyy.jpg”)

Just to be clear: simple history registers media replacements. It just do not displays them when DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT is set to true.

I would appreciate if you could check this.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the report.

This was the Enable Media Replace logger that required the capability “edit_files” to view logged events. I’ve changed this to the more correct “upload_files” and it should work now.

This change will be included in the next release.
