    I have about ten experience in multilingual wordpress sites. I used qtraslate, WPML (commercial), multisite.
    I would say that Polylang is the best.
    It is simple, flexible, reliable and you no need monkey around. In contrast to other language plugins your site will not break down even if you will switch off the plugin (if you have a correct structure).
