• Having downloaded and tried numerous FAQ and Accordion Text plugins and getting really frustrated that most just didn’t look good or required lots of CSS to get them looking even passable, it was a breath of fresh air to install HTML 5 Responsive FAQ.

The settings page is simple and gives you just the flexibility you need to get the FAQs looking like the rest of your site – without having to hack into theme CSS or create child themes.

Using a custom post type to create the FAQs is genius. I can have my FAQ page just with a single shortcode then have all the FAQs automatically integrated into it as they are added. This means that my end client can add more FAQs as they arise in the same way as they’d add a blog post – no having to get complicated shortcodes right or risking messing up the FAQ page.

One enhancement I’d like to see on the settings page is the ability to set a width for the question box. It defaults to the full width of your content area which is fine if you are using the same background colour for your FAQ questions as your main content, but I’ve used reverse colouring (dark background, light text) to add some impact and it would be nice to be able to truncate the box for a better overall look.

Altogether though a great plugin that I’d highly recommend.
