You need to be running PHP 5 for this plugin to work. Might check to be sure you are.

Well then, make sure you have all the WordPress files installed properly.

The Services_JSON::encodeUnsafe() is part of WordPress itself. It’s located in the class-json.php file. If you’re getting an error, then you’re missing something in WordPress.

I’m using PHP 5 and with files everythings fine
Is there are any chance to conflict with buddybress?

    Thanx

Well i have no php mbstring extension is problem in it?

I saw this PHP error appearing on the bottom of the “New Post” page in the WP Admin after upgraded to 3.1. Also the rich editor didn’t work after the upgrade.
This behavior only occurred on one of my WP installations and deactivating all plugins also didn’t change a thing.

The culprit in my case was the “Rask” theme (https://bizzartic.com/bizzthemes/rask/). After switching themes (to Twentyten) everything works fine again now.

By the way I’m using PHP Version 5.1.4 without mbstring.

Edit: My comment is pretty much unrelated to the original thread author’s as I never used the “Simple Facebook Connect” plugin.

seems simple enough but of course I can’t find where to fix it:

My organization had a Facebook (“FB”) “Fan” page before I created a new “app” in order to use this Plugin/Widget to connect with FB.

I turned off any Caching settings for WordPress
I manually defined the organization’s Fan ID (all text, not a numeric identifier) in Main Settings > Facebook Fan Page text box then clicked Save Changes at the bottom of the plugin’s settings page.

I dragged the FB Fan Box (SFC) Widget to be shown in the sidebar, and it is still showing the App’s page with no friends instead of my Fan Page with its multiple friends. (note the sidebar/fan box was not active before I edited the Fan Page in settings… No need to refresh/reload because the box wasn’t showing in the first place)
I also attempted defining the Fan Page as “https://facebook.com/$fanPageID” instead of just “$fanPageID” with the same results.
Is there a way to manually define the $whatever.php text so I see my Fan page instead of my App page? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

That won’t work. You have to put in the Fan Page’s ID number. All pages have ID *numbers*. Try clicking on the image on your fan page and then checking the URL to find that number. SFC needs the number, not the text identifier.

    Thank you sir!
