Simple Easy Captcha Question Better than Akismet ?

CAPTCHA are horrible. They put the onus on the commenter to prove they aren’t a bot (“all commenters are guilty until proven innocent”), they are nearly impossible for commenters with visual disabilities, human spammers can easily get past them, and most can be solved by bots already: https://caca.zoy.org/wiki/PWNtcha

Personally, if you feel that all it lost and you can only rely on CAPTCHA, it’s time to just close your comments.

In 2016/2017 Everybody knows how to use captcha and and i do not think that they are a problem for anyone, except the ones that you show of course.

I like captcha with a questions that you choose (as well as replies), and they are not solved by bots, they are the only good captcha in my opinion.

I do not like when a website or comment system is trying to think for me or my visitors.

No, it just means that I do, and that at the very least Jan doesn’t use captcha.
