Simple discussion

    I am volunteering to build a WordPress site for a Union I belong to. It will be to allow members of a company’s employees to have a private site to get latest information, forms, documents etc.

    It is set up as a private site and members will need to register to view content other than the home page.

    I would like to set up a simple discussion forum within the site. Accessible from the menu. I looked at BuddyPress and others but these are too much. I just want a simple discussion forum that works within a site and does not take the site over.

    Is there something like this available?

    Forgive me for asking if this is not even possible, I am new to WP and so far it is a bit overwhelming. Learning as I go…

    Our project is here and still a work in progress.
