Simple Community Building

    Hello Friends,

    I am using a Child of Twentyeleven and looking for opinions and suggestions from those of you who have worked with plugins that enable a WP site the ability of creating a public area, or community of individuals who can list a profile of themselves.

    Specifically, a plugin which will enable the individual to register his / her name and create a user name and a password.
    Secondly will allow him / her to upload a photo to be used on their Profile page where they will also write a short blurb about themselves.

    I have searched for many days now and tried many including:

    BuddyPress
    People Page
    Profile Builder
    Members Directory
    Membership

    While I am sure these are all very good plugins, they do not seem to provide the two or three features I am looking for as mentioned above.
