I have a couple of issues, the first is not being able to get the new PayPal PPCP buttons to work, but i at least have the old paypal button there on the website so thats something at least.

My big problem is the cart on a mobile device, when you click add to cart i get the error “The link you followed has expired”. So it wont let me add an item to a cart at all.

i have tried clearing the cache like i have read in a couple of other posts, but it still does the same thing. I can checkout on a computer but on a mobile phone or tablet i get that same expired link line and not able to do anything at all.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Do you have a cache plugin running in your site? If you do, can you clear your cache in the plugin. Also make sure you clear your browser cache in your mobile device before you carry out a test. Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards.

I do, I actually just got it to clear the cache since I read that in other posts. I also have cleared the cache on my mobile, tablet and computer as well multiple times so see if that helps and it has not done anything for the mobile and tablet.

I have explained the page caching issue below so you have an idea of why page caching can create this type of issue.

The e-commerce functionality needs a dynamic page being shown to the visitors (so they are seeing the latest values/data of a product). A cached page simply shows a static cached page (our plugin doesn’t get a chance to apply the latest calculation and price to that page). When a cached page is being shown, the user is not actually being shown the updated price values of a product. That’s what causes the issue with e-commerce type setup because an e-commerce type site is not the same as a blog type site. Caching is normally fine with a Blog type site where there is no need to show updated content.

If your caching solution has an option to disable caching when a cookie is present, then I can tell you which cookie to set in the configuration of your caching solution or plugin. Otherwise, you can ask them if you can exclude the page containing the products to be excluded from caching.

Exclude the pages (containing the payment buttons) from caching. Then try again to see if that solves the issue.

If you are using WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache plugins, then have a read of the following pages which will be helpful to configure it to work with our Simple Cart plugin:
