Simple but efficient

  • It truly works !
    BridgeDD connects your users on both wp and phpbb whenever they use one or the other connect form.
    But, it only does this.
    You still have to work on your Styles and Templates to make the bridge perfectly transparent, because Bridge DD only makes the connection.
    Still, it is really simple to install and effective in 2 clics (on new WP 3.9.1 and new Phpbb 3.0.12)

    You are correct, BridgeDD does not attempt to do any form of theme integration, other than to provide phpBB the {U_WP} template variable which lets you add a link in phpBB back to your WP installation.

    Theme integration is handled by BridgeDD PRO, which can export your WP menus and widgets to phpBB as template variables. This powerful feature (not available with any other bridge) gives you the ability to add your WP header/menus/widgets into your phpBB templates — an infinitely better solution than trying to load phpBB inside WordPress.
