    Thanks to the plugin developer for all the great work. After GMW stopped allowing maps on pages I tried a few plugins with varying results.

    I finally settled on the Flexible Map Plugin. It is so easy to use, simple to customize and puts no extra load on the server/ database. I highly recommend it.
