Simple and fantastic

This plugin is perfect. After my client paid money for a more robust product that never worked (even after 10 hours of support from the developer), I was called in to figure out what to do. I wasted a couple hours troubleshooting that plugin, finally gave up, and immediately found this one. It was installed, tested, and working smoothly in barely over an hour.

On install, it creates its own obfuscated upload folder with all the correct permissions. It furthermore saves your uploaded files as obfuscated filenames and provides an option for what the final filename will be on download. It’s brilliant, secure, and highly usable.

You don’t need to be a developer to understand this. You DO need to be literate and follow directions. The plugin wasn’t created by an infinitely amazing designer, ok? Things are organized pretty well, but it isn’t dummy-proof. A couple things are not intuitively placed in the UI, but they all work.

It’s a great plugin. It easily does everything it claims to do. And it does a better job than it gives itself credit for. Five stars for sure.
