Simple and effective

  • We were getting a huge number of spam user registrations on a WordPress/WooCommerce site that we look after. I guess I could have developed my own reCAPTCHA solution for it but why re-invent the wheel?

    Many other plugins only support WooCommerce if you pay for the Premium version (and some of them charge too high a price for what they provide if you ask me). So it was nice to find a reCAPTCHA plugin that not only worked on WooCommerce registration/login pages but which did so in its standard free version. Definitely a plus point there.

    So…it works well (no more spam registrations at all), is updated quickly (I’ve already seen one bug that briefly affected us being squished within two or three days) and it appears to be pretty lightweight and efficient. What’s not to like?
