Similar to Reblog

Hi folks, I’m newbie in the WorldPress world and I wonder if there is some similar pluging as Reblog. I mean, for me I thing Reblog isn’t easy to install like other plug-ins that is just upload and ready to go.

I want to get part of posts from a blog of a friend of mine and post in my blog with a link to his blog. I think that Reblog is the right tool, right? So, is there any other to achieve that?
