Silly question.. how do you add a sidebar(s)

  • For the life of me I can’t find where you would add a sidebar that you can manage from the widgets section. I know you can add one manually on each page.. but normally there’s a dropdown below a page where you can select a sidebar?

    By default the sidebars are there, once you drag and drop the widgets in the widget area in menu “Appearance” > “widgets” they will appear. “main widget area” is the bottom widget area above the footer and “Main side bar widget area” whic will appear on the right.

    there is page template where there is no sidebar at right, if you you want some page with no side bar you can use that template.
