    Hello,

Thank you for this powerful pugin.

I recently tried to add your widget to my homepage (with Gutenberg editor, inside a column bloc), unfortunately the links from the widget don’t redirect to the dedicated SignUp page but update the homepage section (div.pta-sus-sheet) content instead.

I did configure the admin settings for the sign-up sheet “Volunteer Sign Up Page” to make it point to a page containing nothing but the [pta_sign_up_sheet] code. The option to redirect to main page is also set to yes.

I also purged the cache and flush/reset permalinks to make sure… but to no avail.

Any suggestion ? Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

fyi I’m using WP 5.4.2 and Volunteer Sign Up Sheets 3.2.8

I just tested it here, and it’s working fine. I’m assuming you mean you are using the “Sign Up Sheets” item under Widgets in the block editor to help you create the shortcode.

NOTE, as described next to the checkbox for the redirect setting, it only redirects when you click on the actual Sign Up link, then it should go to the page you set in the option above that to display the signup form. But, if you just use that block shortcode without specifying a sheet ID, it will show the list of all sheets first, and if you click on “View and Signup”, it’s first going to show you the list of tasks for the sheet you click on, on the same page. It does NOT redirect until you click on a signup link in the tasks list.

I can confirm that it is working exactly as intended here with the latest versions of everything, and I have not received any other reports of this type of issue. I tried the PTA “widget” just by itself, and also put it in a column block. Works just as described above either way.

Note also that the original intention of this feature was that you could include a sheet ID in the shortcode, to display the details and tasks list for a specific sheet on its own page… allowing you to put more content above and below the shortcode, but then when they click on an actual Signup link, it would go back to your main ‘signup’ page that didn’t have a bunch of extra content on it so they wouldn’t have to maybe scroll way down to find the signup form.
