    Peter,

Well, first make absolutely certain they are not getting caught in a spam filter. Especially since you’re getting one and not the other.

Second place to look is in the subject and body of the email. Could be something in there it’s choking on. If you originally installed and set up the plugin some time ago, it was possible to use problematic field names. Check your field names for anything out of the ordinary.

    Hi,

I can’t get the registration emails to send either…

I have installed WP SMTP and it’s sending emails ok when I test it, but emails from participants database is not coming…

unfortunately it’s not possible to send the emails from the same domain as the website…

    Any pointers?

    Cris.

    Cris,

Probably need a few more details here, but most of the time, it is the spam filters hiding the email. Are you getting the notification email? Or are you not getting either the notification or the receipt email. Doing a signup yourself and seeing if you get the email is a good test because it probably wont get into the spam filter if it is from an email address that is in your contacts.

Did you check it while deactivating other plugins?

    Thanks Zanu,

I upgraded to latest WP core, and the emails are now being sent…

    Hey xnau,

    Love your app, much cudos!

I’m having a minor issue with the notification emails. They look like they are being sent from myself. I have the “email” field in my signup form, so I thought that it was that email written there which appears as the sender of the notification mail so that one can reply directly to them?

    Thanks

This brings up an interesting point. The way it’s set up now, the “from” address for notifications is the one in the settings…it’s the same for both notifications and for receipt emails that go out to users who sign up.

I don’t have a “reply to the user” setting for the notification emails, but it’s a good idea. For now, you’ll have to get the email address out of the body of the email.
