    Hello, I just optimized some images on a new client site and im seeing like 7% reductions.

    my problem: client is uploading huge, print ready images, like 300dpi and 4k pixels wide. I’ve talked to him about this but it seems to not resonate.

    Is there a way I can affect these? With like an 80% reduction or something?

    There are two ways of going about this, and perhaps you’ll want to do both:

    1. Use the lossy options for EWWW IO, available via the EWWW IO API: https://ewww.io/plans/

    2. Use a plugin that resizes the dimensions to a maximum allowable size. I recommend using Imsanity for this task.
