Significant slow down on large woocommerce site

    Running the most recent version of the plugin, with woocommerce and just over 37,000 image files (which have previously been optimized with ewww). Noticed in the last few days the site was struggling to load – after disabling ewww it loaded fine. Any clues about why this might be happening? Its running php 7.4

    Nothing jumps to mind. I think I would try re-installing it and, if it slows down again, maybe seeing if your webhost can see anything? Perhaps there is a resource issue?
