  • Hello bcr8tive,
    I tested this real quick and was not able to reproduce the problem. What versions of WordPress and Wordfence are you using? Are IPs being reported correctly otherwise in the Live Traffic view?

    Hi

    WP = 4.5.3
    WF = Version: 6.1.10

    Everything else in traffic view seems fine.

    What is unnerving though, is that I had an issue a long time ago with the “Don’t log signed-in users with publishing access” option not working, which is why I also added the ip – and now I’m suddenly seeing myself in the logs and on more than one site.

    It could be that some file is not being loaded correctly because of a server side error. Could you check your servers error logs and see if there are any clues there? These logs are usually available via your web hosts administration panel but otherwise you can ask your web host to check them for you or send them to you.

    Hi

    I’m not on Cpanel. I’d have to have the host ‘turn the error logs on’ and then I would have to hunt through them to find the error – but I don’t or wouldn’t know what error to look for.

    I find it peculiar that it’s only since the most recent upgrade, between WP, WF and Jetpack that this began.

    Hello again bcr8tive,
    if you can’t check the error logs this might be difficult to resolve. You could email me a screenshot of the settings in question if you like and I can have a quick look to see that they are correct. If you do, please reference this thread in the email so I know which issue it pertains to. Thanks in advance!
